Drink date: 2016-2019
Made from equal parts Viognier and Roussanne, the 2014 Côtes du Rhône Villages Cairanne Malorie Blanc is a beauty that comes all from clay and limestone soils, was fermented in tank and aged 30% in barrels, with plenty of batonnage. A richer, more substantial effort, it offers terrific notes of tangerine, honeysuckle and buttered citrus as well as a medium-bodied, textured, yet still fresh feel on the palate. It will pair up beautifully with seafood and drink well for 2-3 years.
