位於波爾多的Chateau Haut Bages Libéral位於Pauillac村南邊，“Bages”是本村一處礫石台地的地名，排水良好的貧瘠土壤提供了優異的種植葡萄環境；酒莊名稱的Libéral則是源自18世紀時的酒莊主人。本酒莊在1855年的分級名列五級酒莊。1983年起酒商背景的Villars家族入主本酒莊，2000年起是由年輕一代的女莊主Claire Villars-Lurton掌管，她事必躬親地全心全意投入酒莊大小事務，讓本酒莊近年來的表現越來越耀眼。
2006 Haut Bages Libéral
Haut Bages Libéral 2006年份是一款酒質柔順、香氣開放的優雅風格Pauillac紅酒。它呈現深紫紅色澤，聞起來帶有甘草、燒烤、草本香料、黑醋栗、梅子之類的馥郁香氣，口感圓潤細緻而均衡，被Parker形容是一款「性感」的酒；它還入選了2009年Wine Spectator年度百大(第40名)！可見其表現相當受到專家們的肯定。適飲期是現在到2024年左右。

The 2006 Haut Bages Liberal has a gentle, but respectable bouquet with better fruit intensity than the 2006 Grand Puy Ducasse. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, pleasing weight in the mouth, a keen line of acidity with an attractive, saline finish that begs another sip. Probably not the most glamorous wine of the vintage, but this is a very good effort.
