Tasting note: An admirably pure, cool, restrained and decidedly earthy red and dark currant-scented nose that reflects ample amounts of classic Gevrey character as well as a plentitude of floral nuances. The muscular broad-shouldered flavors possess superb delineation and outstanding punch on the youthfully austere, markedly firm and tension-filled finale. This too is terrific though patience advised as this will need time to resolve the prominent tannic spine.
