Tasted at the Sauternes 2006 ten-year on horizontal in Bordeaux. The 2006 de Malle has a generous bouquet with peach skin and dried mango notes, a touch of adhesive and chlorine in the background. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry, harmonious in the mouth with pure marmalade and quince notes, quite vital and energetic on the finish. This is a very pleasant surprise and it should age nicely over the next 15-20 years.
