The 2005 Les Cailloux Chateauneuf du Pape is a ripe, heady wine, dense ruby-colored, with plenty of garrigue, pepper, and kirsch notes intermixed with plenty of earthy undertones and underbrush. The wine is tannic, medium to full-bodied, and will probably benefit from 1-3 years of bottle age and keep for 12-15 years. |
