This estate's increased attention to details of quality is evident in recent offerings. The forward, seductive, low acid 1997 exhibits a dark ruby/purple color, and plenty of cherry and black currant fruit nicely complemented by pain grille and mineral notes. This medium-bodied, soft, easy to understand and drink Pauillac will be at its best during its first 10-12 years of life.
