The dark-colored and blackberry-scented 1999 Mazis-Chambertin has extraordinary concentration to its ample flavor profile. Stones, black fruits, and freshly laid road tar can be found in its muscular, backward personality. Full-bodied and deep, this is a masculine, somewhat rugged wine that will require patience. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2015+.
