Tasting note: A brooding and somewhat grumpy nose grudgingly offers up notes of petrol and smoke along with layered aromas of various white fleshed fruit, citrus and a whiff of rose petal. Somewhat curiously given how the prior wines showed, the lighter weight flavors are a bit fruity which contrasts considerably with the linear, youthfully austere and bone-dry finish. This may well flesh out with a few years of bottle age but at present this is both lean and a bit disjointed.
