Producer note: Céline Fontaine-Gagnard described the 2019 growing season as one that was "moderately easy though we did have some early season excitement with frost that did a fair amount of damage in Morgeot and the lower sections of Chassagne. We then had an attack of mildew that we were able to beat back, a moderately poor flowering and the intense summer heat with very little rain resulted in a fair about of dehydration as well as some hydric stress. Ultimately, we chose to begin picking on the 10th of September and the fruit was super-clean and notably ripe without being too ripe.
