近年Coche-Dury無論在名聲或價格都超越另一Meursault王者Domaine Comtes Lafon，成為Meursault最佳風土代言人。Coche-Dury在收藏家的心中極為神秘，主要是極稀少的產量及令人敬畏的價格造成，是頂級收藏家頂理膜拜之品。如此輝煌成就幾乎全是Coche 家族第三代Jean-Francois Coche的功勞。

Coche-Dury 起源於祖父 Leon Coche 於 1920 年所建立，其所擁有的九公頃葡萄園分佈於Cote de Beaune，包括 Meursault、Puligny-Montrachet、Auxey-Duresses、Monthelie、 Volnay 及 Pommard，但仍以 Meursault 附近的地塊居多。第三代Jean-Francois，自十 四歲起即開始協助父親，也是第二代莊主 George的 釀酒工作。而在 Jean-Francois 於 1975 年 和 Odile Dury 結婚後，酒莊名正式改為 Coche-Dury，並在他的領導下逐漸步入巔峰。

最偉大的葡萄酒使於葡萄園是無法爭議的道理。Jean-Francois對於葡萄藤的修剪幾近苛刻。他採用的剪枝方能產出小粒的葡萄，並且極大降低果實從而提高集中度和品質。另外為了保護老藤，偏向於將單獨壞死的葡萄藤重新種植，而不是將一個地塊全部翻新。這樣在最大的程度下保存了老藤。他認為雖然年輕葡萄藤也能夠產出優秀的葡萄，但是必須格控制生長的枝葉，以防止養分分散。Jean-Francois的栽培法在一定程度上也改善了土壤品質，而這影響了酒的陳年實力和複雜度。堅持手工裝瓶，在釀酒裝瓶都不進行過濾的程序(紅酒還是經過傳統使用蛋白的過濾方式)，也因此才能得出迷人的佳釀。另一個特色是其酒款在 50% 新桶比例橡木桶中經過平均約 22 個月的陳放，賦予酒款醇厚深沉的酒質。

Tasting note: (from a bottle tasted in Burgundy). A typical Meursault nose features notes of hazelnut, citrus, pear and a hint of acacia blossom that are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is good richness and volume to the relatively full-bodied flavors that thanks to the nicely prominent acid spine retain a fine sense of cut and delineation on the markedly linear and lingering finish that is on the leaner side at present. I should note that with air the flavors filled out somewhat but even so it would be fair to observe that this is still very young and will need another 5 to 7 to arrive at its full maturity.
