Drink: Try from 2016+
Tasting note: A slightly advanced nose displays hints of caramel and butterscotch along with honey and dried fruit scents that don't possess the freshness that one would reasonably expect from a typical 2008 at this stage of its evolution. Here too there is fine volume but also good definition to the rich and plush medium weight flavors that deliver both good power and fine length on the very well balanced finish. My sense is that the nose was definitely exhibiting some degree of premature oxidation and unfortunately t I do not have another recent review for this wine.
