Tasting note: This is a wine that I have had many times and I have never been particularly impressed, even in the context of the vintage. A relatively muted, slightly under ripe nose offering modest complexity with fresh, still moderately tight flavors that evidence some complexity on the slightly under ripe back end. To be sure, this is perfectly good for what was the worst vintage of the decade but it isn't distinguished either.
