超級托斯卡尼紅酒的龍頭之一 Solaia
義大利托斯卡尼產區的Antinori安蒂諾里家族自1385年以來，從事葡萄酒事業已經傳承了26代，是舉世聞名的葡萄酒名門。現今他們在托斯卡尼和翁布里亞擁有將近1,400公頃的葡萄園，生產多款被評價為世界最頂尖水準的葡萄酒，位居義大利酒業中的龍頭地位。
一直以來本家族秉持著對傳統與土地的尊重，同時也勇於自我挑戰以不斷創新。在受到Sassicaia紅酒一炮而紅的成功經驗所激勵，安蒂諾里家族也開始釀製所謂的「超級托斯卡尼(Super Tuscany)」紅酒，先是在Chianti Classico產區裡自家最好的葡萄園Tignanello莊園釀製出Tignanello紅酒(1971年份開始)，接著再挑選Tignanello園裡的最精華區塊，釀造出最膾炙人口的旗艦產品－Solaia紅酒；現在Solaia園區有20公頃，種植了15公頃Cabernet Sauvignon、1公頃Cabernet Franc和 4公頃Sangiovese品種。
Solaia基本上是以75 % Cabernet Sauvignon、20 % Sangiovese和5% Cabernet Franc混合釀製的波爾多風格紅酒。自從1978年份開始上市以來，Solaia紅酒一直是義大利最聲譽卓著的頂級紅酒。Solaia紅酒每個年份都很穩定地獲得Robert Parker 給予90分以上的高度評價，而Wine Spectator雜誌在2000年甚至將1997 Solaia評鑑為當年的年度百大好酒第一名！因此Solaia紅酒也是全世界的好酒鑑賞家們競相收藏的對象。

The thrilling 2004 Solaia (75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Franc) is clearly one of the highlights of this great vintage. Endowed with massive amounts of concentration as well as structure, it is a big, powerful Solaia that does not sacrifice elegance or balance in its full-bodied personality. Packed with the essence of blackberries, chocolate, tar, smoke, cassis and menthol, this layered beauty exhibits great length and a persistent, warmly alcoholic finish. It has been stunning on the three occasions I have had it so far and is not to be missed. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2024.
