Drink: Now
Tasting note: (opened from personal storage). A beautifully complex nose of mostly earth, floral and mature secondary aromas leads to attractively rich, round and equally complex flavors that culminate in an utterly delicious finish that delivers excellent length. There is just a hint of acidity poking through on the velvety finish but it's not enough to materially upset the overall sense of balance. A lovely Nuits villages that is drinking perfectly now, indeed I would be inclined to drink this up over the next 5 to 7 years as I suspect the nose will turn tertiary during this period.
