Tasting note: An understated application of wood frames the green fruit and essence of pear scents that evidence subtle spice, floral and citrus nuances. There is terrific intensity to the highly complex medium-bodied flavors that are also blessed with a highly attractive mouth feel before concluding in a saliva-inducing finish that delivers first-rate persistence. Lovely stuff that should repay up to a decade of keeping.
