Château Grand-Puy Ducasse是法國波爾多左岸的頂級酒莊，其歷史可以追溯到17世紀，一位Arnaud Ducasse先生向Ségur家族買了一塊地，其子孫Pierre Ducasse是一位對種植葡萄很有興趣的律師，他開始種植葡萄釀酒，並陸續增購葡萄園，建立了本酒莊的基礎；以其優異的品質，在波爾多1855年的分級中，被遴選為第五級頂級酒莊。它座落在Pauillac村的西南側的一處小丘上，自中世紀這一帶就被稱為“grand puy”，而puy是古時候當地方言的「小丘」之意。
雖然本酒莊在1855年被列為五級酒莊，但是在二次大戰後曾經有幾十年間品質起起落落，一直到1970年新股東的加入之後，推動了本酒莊的設備更新，以及隨後的提升品質和聲譽。尤其2004年起新東家Groupe Crédit Agricole入主之後，邀請到Ch. Angelus的莊主Hubert de Bouärd擔任釀酒顧問，讓品質有非常明顯的大幅提昇。
Grand-Puy Ducasse旗下40公頃土地中，可以區分為3個區塊：北邊的葡萄園緊鄰著聲名卓著的鄰居們：如Mouton、Lafite 和 Pontet-Canet；中間的葡萄園在Grand Puy圓丘上；南邊的葡萄園在Saint-Lambert 台地。葡萄園的土壤是礫石和砂質的混合，貧瘠而排水良好。依據土壤特色選擇種植的品種，目前種植了62 % Cabernet Sauvignon、38 % Merlot，平均樹齡30幾歲。酒液在溫控不銹鋼槽發酵後，在法國橡木桶（30~40 %新桶）中培養熟成。
以Grand-Puy Ducasse近年來的優異表現和價位來看，它有頗為優異的C/P值。想品嚐Pauillac頂級酒莊的風味，Grand-Puy Ducasse是非常划算的好選擇。

The 2019 Grand-Puy-Ducasse exhibits aromas of raspberries, currants and fruit liqueur mingled with subtle hints of loamy soil and pencil shavings. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and demonstrative, with an ample core of fruit, ripe tannins and lively acids and a finish subtly marked by alcoholic warmth, this is more elegant than its muscular, powerful 2018 predecessor; but it's held back by that touch of alcoholic heat. The new ambition that's animating this historically lackluster estate, however, is more than evident, and there are surely great things to come from this address.
