Drink: Try from 2024+
Tasting note: A maturing nose is very Meursault in character with its aromas of dried and mildly exotic white orchard fruit, especially white peach, and acacia blossom. The rich, concentrated and full-bodied flavors are almost thick yet there is good supporting acidity to the nicely persistent if not particularly complex finale. I was a bit surprised that this didn't offer better depth though with that said, the '08 Rougeots isn't quite at its apogee so a few more years may in fact help. Note that I have had this twice recently and one of the bottles was clearly premoxed.
