佩芮酒莊(Viña Pérez Cruz)座落在智利最精華最著名的葡萄酒產區-瑪依波谷地(Maipo Valley)裡的Huelquén，在首都聖地牙哥南方45公里而已；此地是由安地斯山脈山腳的丘陵所圍繞，氣候為冬濕涼夏乾熱的地中海型氣候，秋季幾乎不下雨，因此葡萄不僅可以達到極好的成熟度，同時也不用擔心會有發霉、腐爛或其他病害，儼然是非常理想的優質葡萄酒產地。
其葡萄園的土壤主要是含有礫石的沖積土，這是古早時期冰河自安地斯山沖刷下來的，排水性非常良好。酒莊慎重評估過葡萄園的各項條件之後，慎選最合適的品種來種植合適的土地；現在他們140公頃的葡萄園種植的品種有：Cabernet Sauvignon、Carmenère、Merlot、Syrah、Cot (也就是Malbec)以及Petit Verdot 。
Carmenère品種原產於法國波爾多，但是現在在波爾多幾乎沒有人種植它，反而在智利是目前最受矚目的品種。它是成熟得很慢的品種，本酒莊完全以人工挑選採收果實，並在溫控的不鏽鋼槽中發酵；酒精發酵完成後會在法國橡木桶中進行陳年14~16個月。它的色澤是深紅帶紫；其怡人的香氣帶有深色漿果、甘草和咖啡等很有個性的氣味。口感上顯得相當飽滿而紮實，成熟的單寧和甜美的漿果香味形成良好的平衡感，餘味頗為悠長。
The 2018 Carmenere Limited Edition contains 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, and like all wines in the Limited Edition range, it fermented in stainless steel and matured in used oak barrels for around 15 months. There are notes of ripe plum and something toasty and smoky. It doesn't have the clarity or focus of the Cabernet Franc, and there are abundant tannins that seem to provide some bitter notes in the finish. Carmenere is not an easy grape. 109,300 bottles produced. It was bottled in eight different lots between October and July.
