佩芮酒莊(Viña Pérez Cruz)座落在智利最精華最著名的葡萄酒產區-瑪依波谷地(Maipo Valley)裡的Huelquén，在首都聖地牙哥南方45公里而已；此地是由安地斯山脈山腳的丘陵所圍繞，氣候為冬濕涼夏乾熱的地中海型氣候，秋季幾乎不下雨，因此葡萄不僅可以達到極好的成熟度，同時也不用擔心會有發霉、腐爛或其他病害，儼然是非常理想的優質葡萄酒產地。
其葡萄園的土壤主要是含有礫石的沖積土，這是古早時期冰河自安地斯山沖刷下來的，排水性非常良好。酒莊慎重評估過葡萄園的各項條件之後，慎選最合適的品種來種植合適的土地；現在他們140公頃的葡萄園種植的品種有：Cabernet Sauvignon、Carmenère、Merlot、Syrah、Cot (也就是Malbec) 、Cabernet Franc以及Petit Verdot 。
Chaski Petit Verdot紅酒是本酒莊近年推出的高階限定酒款。“Chaski ”是印加語的「信差」，在酒莊鄰近的山坡有發現了古代印加帝國的信差驛站石屋遺跡，因此將這款酒命名為Chaski ，希望如同信差一樣忠實地傳遞這裡的風土特色給飲用者。葡萄產自產量很低的Liguai園區的多石頭的區塊，是最晚採收的品種。完全以人工採收，並在溫控的不鏽鋼槽中發酵；酒精發酵完成後會在法國橡木桶中進行乳酸發酵，以及陳年14個月。
The 2016 Chaski Petit Verdot comes from vines on alluvial stony soils, and in this cold and wet year, these grapes were harvested two weeks later than the previous year. It fermented in stainless steel and matured in 225-liter French oak barrels, 60% of them new, for 16 months. The year seems to have worked very well with the grape, which is not an easy one, and the wine has freshness, complexity and the vibrant sensation of the best 2016s. The tannins are fine, and there's stuffing and balance to develop nicely in bottle. It has to be one of the finest pure Petit Verdot bottlings out there. 13,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2019.
