My favorite of the two whites was the 300-case 2015 Cairanne Malorie Blanc and it’s a blend of equal parts Roussanne and Viognier aged in stainless steel and barrels. It’s a beautiful white that has lots of Viognier character in its sautéed peach, tangerine and floral aromas and flavors. These give way to a medium-bodied, supple, nicely textured white that has both freshness and richness. Drink it over the coming year or two.
