Chateau Certan de May(全名是Chateau Certan de May de Certan)是波爾多右岸Pomerol產區裡的著名酒莊，原是Vieux Chateau Certan的一部分，在法國大革命之前是由De May家族所擁有，莊主因為擔心革命戰爭影響於是于1858年將老色丹賣掉，僅留了五公頃未易手，就是現在的Certan de May，又稱為「小色丹」(Petit Certan)。於是形成現在Pomerol區有幾家的Certan色丹堡：老色丹堡Vieux Chateau Certan、德麥色丹堡Certan de May、色丹瑪樂堡Certan Marzelle、色丹幾荷堡Certan Giraud。近年Certan de May是委由Petrus的Jean-Pierre Moueix經營管理。
Certan de May的葡萄園雖僅有小小的5公頃，但周圍的鄰居卻都是來頭很大的、鼎鼎有名的Petrus、Vieux Chateau Certan、Lafleur和Le Pin。葡萄園的土壤是1/3黏土和2/3礫石的組合，種植品種是70 % Merlot、25 % Cabernet Franc和5 % Cabernet Sauvignon，平均樹齡已達45歲。Certan de May的酒是以渾厚紮實著稱，通常需要陳年7-10年，香氣有Petrus的滋味但風格類似波爾多左岸Medoc的風，是不可限量的佳釀。在價格方面Pétrus一瓶動輒要十幾萬，但酒體紮又常令人Pétrus的Certan de May，價格只要Petrus 3-5%左右，多麼的物超所值！
This great terroir sandwiched between Vieux Château Certan, Petrus and La Fleur Petrus, on the high plateau of Pomerol, has been owned for many years by the Barrau-Badar family. Beautiful coffee, cedar wood, Christmas fruitcake, black cherry and blackcurrant fruit jump from the glass of this full-bodied, rich, multi-layered, and very impressive Certan de May. I don’t remember it showing this well in barrel and post-bottling, but it is strutting its stuff at age 10, and has a good 20 years of upside left to it. This is a beauty. I especially admire the layered, textural style of the wine. Drink it over the next 20 years.
