Bouchard Père & Fils創立於1731年，是布根地最老字號的酒商之一，也是布根地品質實力最堅強的酒商四天王之一。1995年來自香檳區的Henriot家族買下這家酒商公司，加上後續買下Merusault的Ropiteau-Mignon酒莊、Chablis的William Fevre酒莊，為這家歷史將近300年的老字號注入新生能量，成為充滿活力且最具影響力的大酒商。
Bouchard旗下擁有為數眾多的特級園和一級園。Henriot買下本公司之後，實行了許多重要的改革。他要求比過往更高的釀酒標準，並購置新的設備讓生產過程更有效率。在他和釀酒師努力的經營之下，讓Bouchard Pere & Fils有了比以往更高水準的品質。
Bouchard Père & Fils Montrachet Grand Cru 2010
Tasting note: (with thanks to McKee Nunnally). There are background hints of wood and sulfur to the otherwise fresh aromas that are clearly ripe, spicy and very floral. The superbly well-concentrated flavors are a marvelous combination of size, weight, tension and power on the palate staining, complex and hugely long finish. Despite all of the muscle and concentration, there is absolutely no heaviness, indeed the acid support is such that this comes across as impeccably well-balanced on the palate staining finish. If there is a nit, it's that this could use better overall complexity though in fairness, this beauty is still on the way up and I would expect more depth to develop in time. Excellent and still improving.
