Joseph Roty 是 Gevrey Chambertin 的老牌酒莊，家族自 1710年 開始便在 Gevrey 從事釀酒，Roty 深信酒是土質、氣候、以及耕耘三者結合的產品，他依循自然方式釀酒，其葡萄園裡的樹藤 70% 以上超過百歲以上，產量也很低。低產率加上長時間的浸泡讓 Roty 的酒帶有橡木的濃郁風味和不尋常的果香深度，偶而有苦中帶甜的滋味，也是本區內傳統型的勃根地紅酒的最佳代表之一。2008 年 Joseph 過世後，酒廠由兒子 Philippe 接手經營。
酒廠最令人垂涎的除了三款 Gevrey Chambertin 老藤頂級園酒 (Charmes Chambertin / Griotte Chambertin / Mazis Chambertin )以及一級園 Gevrey Les Fontenys 之外，另外也出產品質優秀的村莊級和區域級勃根地酒。

The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Prieur Bas has a pretty bouquet of red cherries, wild strawberry and fine crushed stone aromas. The palate is well balanced with crunchy red fruit, fine tannins and orange zest and marmalade toward the finish, which shows good precision and grip. Excellent.
