Tasting note: This isn't quite as aromatically fresh as the Chambolle but there are plenty of both spice and floral nuances to render the layered combination of red and dark currant quite attractive. The utterly delicious and generously proportioned medium weight flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract on the very solidly complex and persistent finale. This firm effort is already very good and if it develops more depth with time in bottle, it could be outstanding.
