de Pez位於波爾多的St-Estèphe產區，是本地歷史最悠久的莊園；在十六世紀由著名的Pontac家族(當時也是Haut Brion的主人)開闢了它的葡萄園。它長久以來都被視為波爾多中級酒莊的領導者之一，2003年官方公布的中級酒莊名單中，它被列為最高的Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel等級。香檳名門Louis Roederer在1995年購置本酒莊，並且不斷在各方面提升其品質，近年來其酒質已經有五級酒莊的水準。
本酒莊的面積有48公頃，包含42公頃的葡萄園，採行永續經營農法栽培葡萄，種植的品種為Cabernet Sauvignon 45%、Merlot 48%、 Cabernet Franc 4 %、Petit Verdot 3 %；平均樹年齡25歲以上。更重要的是，這個酒莊亦是由Pichon Lalande釀酒師Nicolas Glumineau擔綱釀造！
2019年份溫暖乾燥，是波爾多紅酒極優異的年份，因此使用較往常更高比例的Cabernet Sauvignon。在木槽(70 %)和不銹鋼槽(30 %)中發酵；熟成使用35 %新桶，其他是一年及兩年舊桶；桶中熟成12個月。
2019 de Pez是本酒莊有史以來釀得最好的年份之一。它的色澤呈現漂亮的深紅帶紫。聞起來有甜美誘人的黑醋栗、黑櫻桃漿果香氣，伴隨著花卉、菸草的氣味。單寧結構相當紮實，但是並不生澀，酒質濃郁飽滿，新鮮活潑的果味讓口感非常討喜，但是也有良好的陳年潛力，經過適當陳年會更加美味。建議適飲期是2021到2035年。

Medium garnet-purple colored, the 2020 de Pez skips out of the glass with lively notes of Bing cherries, fresh blackberries and blackcurrant pastilles, with suggestions of pencil shavings, wild thyme and damp soil. The medium-bodied palate is elegantly styled and refreshing, delivering intense red and black berry layers with loads of herbal sparks and a grainy texture, finishing long and savory.
