Château Rol Valentin位於波爾多St-Emilion產區，是一家非常年輕的酒莊。退休的足球明星Eric Prissette在1994年買下這個漂亮的酒莊，更名為Rol Valentin；2009年再轉手到新東家Nicolas 和Alexandra Robin夫妻名下。旗下的葡萄園有兩個區塊總計7公頃左右，種植了85 % Merlot、8 % Cabernet Franc和7 % Cabernet Sauvignon，平均樹齡超過40歲。本酒莊還聘請到大名鼎鼎的Stéphane Derenoncourt來當釀酒顧問。
Rol Valentin的特色是口感濃郁豐厚，有成熟討喜漿果香以及優雅橡木香味，深受消費者喜愛，加上年產量很少(約14,000瓶)，因而被視為「車庫酒莊」之一。由於酒莊名裡的 “Valentin”一字，因此也被暱稱為「情人堡」。二軍酒名為Les Valentines，並且採用幾位小天使捧著愛心的圖案以及可愛字體的設計，酒質也非常甜美討喜，儼然是為了情人們所設計的美酒！
Much less successful than other top vintages have been, Rol Valentin’s 2006 reveals a sinewy, muscular style displaying a dark ruby/purple color, some attractive black cherry, licorice, and roasted herbs on the attack, but a narrowing in the mouth as well as an angular, disjointed finish. There is good depth, weight, and purity, but it exhibits the major defect found in some 2006s ... an excess of tannin vis a vis the concentration. Drink it over the next decade.
