Hoffmann-Jayer 前身為Domain Jayer-Gilles，莊主Robert Jayer與布根地最偉大釀酒師Henri Jayer 是堂兄弟，皆師承DRC釀酒師André Noblet。莊主因為健康問題於2017年將Domaine Jayer-Gilles售予瑞士Hoffmann集團，故將酒莊與酒標更名為Domaine Hoffmann-Jayer，也就是說Domaine Jayer-Gilles於2017以後的年份酒款都是新標Domaine Hoffmann-Jayer。新團隊強調“偉大的酒款始於葡萄園”，注重永續經營，並減少人為干預，使所有酒款都能展現自己的風格，頂級酒款依然表現亮眼，而地域的紅白酒也對木桶的使用則更為謹慎，年輕時享用即果香活潑，清脆可口。 旗下Nuits-Saint-Georges Hauts Poirets 與一級園Damodes 兩酒款讓人真正感受到Jayer佳葉家族超高名氣的基石。酒莊極富盛名的Echézeaux du Dessus特級園是酒莊於60年代購自Domaine-de-la-Romanée Conti，品質極為優異。

Offering up aromas of cherries and cassis, deftly framed by a touch of new oak, the 2018 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune is medium to full-bodied, deep and fleshy, with a rich core of fruit, powdery tannins and lively acids. Still primary and youthful, it had yet to be bottled when I tasted it.
