Tasting note: Oak char and concentrated and spicy red fruits lead to precise, moderately robust flavors that display superb acid/fruit balance, a subtle earthy complexity and stunning length. As with the prior two wines, the tannins are quite fine and the texture here is more Vosne in style than Nuits, though this does not possess the sheer opulence of the Beaux Monts. Still, this is a very fine effort with excellent finishing power.
