Tasting note: A softly spicy and overtly earthy nose features notes of both red and dark pinot fruit along with a whiff of violet. The medium-bodied flavors possess a bit more weight and mid-palate density along with very good delineation on the youthfully austere and sneaky long finale. This is a fine Nuits villages and worth a look.
