This wine is not for En Primeur sale but mainly for on-trade. Composed of 65% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc (with no new oak), the deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Pastourelle de Clerc Milon is very plummy on the nose with black currant pastilles notions plus spice cake and powdered cinnamon with touches of potpourri and dusty soil. The palate is medium-bodied, juicy and refreshing with plush tannins and good length. Delicious now!
