Sweet spot
Tasting note: A gentle touch of wood sets off the pure, markedly ripe and enticingly spicy nose of gamey wild dark berries, cassis and very pungent earth aromas. There is good concentration to the suave, round and delicious yet muscular flavors where the supporting structure is quite firm without being hard, all wrapped in a beautifully well-balanced and highly persistent finish. As one would reasonably expect, this is overtly powerful though not especially rustic and overall should amply reward 12 to 15 years of cellar time.
