Tasting note: More evident wood can be found on the fresh and mildly exotic aromas of white peach, passion fruit and a suggestion of matchstick character. There is both very fine volume and richness to the opulent and sappy larger-scaled flavors that deliver excellent length on the well-balanced finish. This will need to add depth to merit the upper end of my predicted range but if this is properly cellared, there is time for that to occur.
