Domaine Hoffmann-Jayer 前身為Domain Jayer-Gilles，莊主Robert Jayer與布根地最偉大釀酒師Henri Jayer 是堂兄弟，皆師承DRC釀酒師André Noblet。莊主因為健康問題於2017年將Domaine Jayer-Gilles售予瑞士Hoffmann集團，故將酒莊與酒標更名為Domaine Hoffmann-Jayer，也就是說Domaine Jayer-Gilles於2017以後的年份酒款都是新標Domaine Hoffmann-Jayer。新團隊強調“偉大的酒款始於葡萄園”，注重永續經營，並減少人為干預，使所有酒款都能展現自己的風格，頂級酒款依然表現亮眼，而地域的紅白酒也對木桶的使用則更為謹慎，年輕時享用即果香活潑，清脆可口。 旗下Nuits-Saint-Georges Hauts Poirets 與一級園Damodes 兩酒款讓人真正感受到Jayer佳葉家族超高名氣的基石。酒莊極富盛名的Echézeaux du Dessus特級園是酒莊於60年代購自Domaine-de-la-Romanée Conti，品質極為優異。

使用100% 120年老藤Pinot Noir，黑色漿果、烘烤、木質調、融合些許礦物味，可感受到此酒款經典的複雜度與寬闊的架構，融合悠揚的酸度，尾韻帶有些許的礦物風味。

Sweet spot Outstanding
Tasting note: Here too there is perceptible wood surrounding the cooler and more floral and even spicier nose of earthy dark berries. There is both fine volume and richness to the powerful but relatively refined middle weight flavors that also brim with dry extract and minerality, all wrapped in a balanced and beautifully long finale. This will need a few years to digest the wood treatment, but this should be really lovely in time.
