This is a very good 1985, which Guigal believes resembles his 1982. Quite rich, very dark garnet-colored with some amber, it offers a bouquet of peppery cassis fruit. This full-bodied wine's low acidity resulted in a quick maturity curve, and the wine needs to be drunk up.
