Dugat 家族從17世紀開始就已經定居在 Gevrey-Chambertin 從事葡萄種植；Bemnard Dugat 和另一菁英酒莊莊主 Claude Dugat 是同屬此家族第12代的堂兄弟。
2年後他的兒子 Loïc 也開始參與酒莊的工作，並且在大學研讀、在其他酒莊實習來學習釀酒的知識；近年來 Loïc 已逐漸接掌酒莊的經營，但是仍延續了 Bemnard 的釀酒哲學和水準。
Dugat-Py 擁有約5公頃的葡萄園，從夜丘到博恩丘的紅白酒都有，當中包含4個大名鼎鼎的特級園：Chambertin、Mazis-Chambertin、Charmes- Chambertin與Mazoyeres-Chambertin。Bemnard Dugat 在1999年就開始試行有機種植，並且在2003年進而完全採行生物動力農法，是這方面的先驅之一。
Dugat-Py 傾向比其他布根地酒莊較早採收葡萄，以獲得細緻優雅而不過熟的風味。
本酒莊的產品風格是濃郁集中，又兼具均衡優雅，並且有優異的陳年潛力；但是幾款旗艦產品產量都非常少，是非常幸運的酒迷才有可能喝的的珍品。

Tasting note: Here the broad-ranging and strikingly fresh nose also reflects notes of the sauvage, black cherry, raspberry, earth and a wisp of old leather. There is again outstanding density to the equally large-scaled flavors that possess a highly appealing texture before culminating in a dusty, hugely long, youthfully austere and compact finale. Magnificent but I would suggest buying this and then forgetting you own it for at least a decade.
