Tasting note: This also reflects noticeable wood influence on the elegant, pure and airy aromas of acacia, carnation, pear and green apple. The succulent and seductively textured larger-bodied flavors display impressive power while coating the palate with dry extract that also serves to buffer the firm acid spine supporting the wonderfully persistent finish. This broad-shouldered and terrific effort should amply repay extended keeping.
