Tasting note: This is also relatively high-toned if not quite to the same degree with its array of airy red pinot fruit, plum and newly turned earth. There is better volume to the lightly stony medium weight flavors that terminate in a bitter pit fruit-inflected finale where a touch of warmth slowly emerges. This could use better depth but there appears to be sufficient underlying material that more should develop with a few years of bottle aging.
