Tasting note: This is quite generously oaked and while not over the top, it's close and at present the wood completely dominates the nose. The big and rich flavors are concentrated and distinctly oaky with that rounded and creamy character that heavily oaked whites take on. To be sure, there is good power here and I like the quality of the underlying material but this will most please those who enjoy aggressively oaked wines.
