Château Gazin是波爾多Pomerol村的明星酒莊之一，它的西側隔壁鄰居是大名鼎鼎的Petrus、L’Evangile。在幾百年前這裡曾經是聖約翰騎士團的院所，就是酒莊商標的十字架圖案由來。現在的酒莊葡萄園歷史可以追溯到1772年，在1840年代已經出產非常有名的酒，酒莊經歷多次易手之後，在1917年由貴族世家Bailliencourt家族購得，並經營傳承至今。
Gazin旗下的葡萄園有26公頃，是Pomerol面積最大的酒莊之一，位於本村東北角的精華區臺地上，土壤是最適合種植Merlot的礫石黏土為主。葡萄品種的種植比例是90 % Merlot、7 % Cabernet Sauvignon、3 % Cabernet Franc，平均樹齡35歲，葡萄園採用有機農法種植，加上Bailliencourt家族在1996年完全更新了釀造設備，從此其酒質有明顯的提升。其酒質兼具力道和細緻，是典型的Pomerol好酒，同時相較於其他Pomerol紅酒的天價，Gazin的平實價格也是讓它相當受歡迎的原因。

Unwinding in the glass with aromas of dark berries, licorice, cherries and spices, the 2022 Gazin is medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with excellent depth at the core, sweet tannins and a long, expansive finish. Despite the drought, the vineyards performed better in 2022 than in 2020 at this address, and the result is one of the better vintages for Gazin in recent years.
