Château Pavie-Macquin是波爾多Saint-Emilion產區的著名酒莊，它就座落在村莊的東側本村精華區Pavie丘上；與其他兩家Chateau Pavie、Chateau Pavie-Decesse曾經都是同一個大莊園的一部分，後來才各自成為獨立莊園。酒莊名稱的Maquin則是源自19世紀後半時的莊主Albert Macquin，他是拯救葡萄酒業的先驅，率先使用接枝法種植葡萄樹，將葡萄酒業從葡萄根瘤蚜蟲蟲害中挽救起來。
現在本酒莊的主人Corre家族是Albert Macquin的後裔，不過酒莊是委由Vieux Chateau Certan的主人Nicolas Thienpont代為經營，並且在1990年開始起用當時未成名的年輕釀酒師Stéphane Derenoncourt，在這位才華洋溢的釀酒師手上，將本酒莊推上有史以來最輝煌的時代。本酒莊有15公頃的葡萄園種植黑葡萄，品種比例為85 % Merlot、14 % Cabernet Franc和1 % Cabernet Sauvignon。由於葡萄園表土淺薄，底層是石灰質岩層，讓酒質可以帶有優良的酸度。
本酒莊近20年來的優異表現讓它在2006年首度打入頂級酒莊(Grand Cru Classé) 之列，2012年更晉升到Premiers Grands Crus Classes B！現在Pavie-Macquin的風格是帶有很成熟的甜美黑櫻桃果香，酒質濃郁有力，單寧細膩圓潤，又有漂亮的酸度，常被形容像是上好的布根地紅酒，吸引了許多酒迷的愛好，在近年來可以用快速竄紅的黑馬來形容。
Tasted at BI Wine & Spirits' 10-Years-On tasting, the 2007 Pavie-Macquin has quite a rich and opulent bouquet that is clearly trying to surpass the limitation of the vintage. There is pleasant purity, and certainly, it is less herbaceous than many of its peers, with peppermint-tinged red cherry and cranberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a mixture of red and black fruit, quite caressing in texture, with a well balanced if not overly complex finish. While it does not possess the length of a great vintage, it is a pleasing Saint Emilion that is perfect to consume now.
