Château Lafleur是波爾多Pomerol產區的一家小型酒莊，葡萄園僅有4.5公頃。本酒莊就位於Pétrus隔壁，而且也生產品質不遜色的頂尖好酒。Lafleur的葡萄園位於Pomerol村多礫石的台地上，園中土壤很深而且富含鉀、鐵質，僅使用天然肥料。即使以產量偏低的Pomerol產區標準來看，其產量仍可說是很誇張的低--每公頃年產量不到3000公升！
Lafleur種植的葡萄品種是Merlot 50% 和Cabernet Franc 50%；發酵完的酒通常是在橡木桶（約50 %新桶）中陳年培養18個月左右。Lafleur的酒常常散發出驚人濃郁的香氣，這部分歸功於其高比例Cabernet Franc；同時口感豐盈香味多層次，常帶有成熟黑色漿果、甘草、菸草和礦物質的典型香味；它比較不像Pétrus的濃郁甜美，但是其特別的香味亦相當迷人。其極小的產量、高超的品質和卓越的聲譽使它的價格高居不下，名列Pomerol的前三大高價酒之一！在陳新民教授的著作「稀世珍釀-世界百大葡萄酒」書中有專文介紹。
Tasted at Justerini & Brooks agency tasting in London. The Les Pensées de Lafleur 2008 appears to be maturing in accomplished fashion in bottle. It has lovely definition on the nose, quite floral with violet scents and just a touch of Italian cured meat lending complexity. The palate is sappy and saline, a "cool customer" in the sense that it is not concentrated (in keeping with the growing season), but holds everything back. Perhaps it might put on a little weight with continued bottle age? Maybe, but I see no reason not to broach this wine now and hold a couple back, just to see what it can do.
