1982年，波爾多Pomerol產區的Château la Croix de Gay的莊主Noel Reynaud，將本酒莊精華區塊的葡萄園獨立出來另外成立一家酒莊，那就是Château la Fleur de Gay。這3公頃的葡萄園和Petrus、Lafleur相鄰，園中混合了黏土和礫石，是最棒的Pomerol土壤，全部種植Merlot，並且也聘請了Michel Roland做為釀酒顧問。葡萄先經低溫浸皮，發酵時採用較高發酵溫度，並使用全新橡木桶培養，釀成相當圓熟甜美的酒質，因此la Fleur de Gay的酒被形容是豐腴醇美的享樂主義風格。
The 2015 La Fleur de Gay is deep garnet-purple in color with a baked plums and blackberry pie nose with black soil, cedar chest and dried herbs hints. The palate is full, muscular and firm with a chewy frame and long, grippy finish with lingering earth notions.
