Tasting note: An adroit application of oak frames the exceptionally fresh earthy red currant and plum suffused nose. There is a lovely restraint to the markedly intricate and precise medium-bodied flavors that display moderate austerity on the impressively persistent and mouth coating finish. Patience will be required though this should not be unduly forbidding in its youth.
