毫無疑問的，Domaine Leflaive是布根地最好的白酒酒莊，甚至英國Decanter雜誌曾經將其莊主Anne-Claude列為全世界十大最佳的白酒釀酒師。在其父親Vincent Leflaive的經營下本酒莊早已位居布根地白酒生產者的領導地位，Anne-Claude女士接手之後更讓本酒莊的品質和聲譽達到前所未有的高峰，被尊稱為「鐵娘子」。
Leflaive家族的祖先早在1717年就來到Puligny村定居，是布根地最古老的家族式酒莊之一。Domaine Leflaive擁有包含Montrachet在內的4個頂級園和5個一級園等Puligny村最好的葡萄園；Anne-Claude女士從19910起掌管本酒莊，然後在1997年全面將其葡萄園採用自然動力法耕作，在當時是非常大膽而先進的做法。其產品特質是風味非常純淨和有深度，而且相當忠於產地特色。由於其卓越的品質受到全世界美酒鑑賞家的高度讚賞，成為愛酒人士心目中的夢幻珍釀，因此在近年來其產品價格水漲船高，Domaine Leflaive Montrachet Grand Cru 名列全世界最昂貴的不甜白葡萄酒之一！
2006年Anne-Claude女士被英國著名的Decanter雜誌評為「世界最佳白葡萄酒釀酒師(the world's top white winemaker)」。2014年，葡萄酒大师协会（Institute of Masters of Wine）也授予其酿酒师的最高荣誉“最佳酿酒师奖章”（Winemakers'
Winemaker）。2014年葡萄酒大師協會（Institute of Masters of
Wine）也授予其釀酒師的最高榮譽「最佳釀酒師獎（Winemakers' Winemaker）」。然而非常遺憾而且令人震驚的，Anne-Claude女士在今年(2015)4月5日因為癌症過世，享年59歲。一代釀酒大師的隕歿，她親手釀製出來的美酒當然益發珍貴！

Tasting note: (with thanks to Pat Dukes). A pure, elegant and refined nose that is openly exotic with honeysuckle, mango, apricot and spiced pear plus subtle lemon peel notes. There is fine volume to the rich, full, ripe and generous medium-bodied flavors that possess a silky mouth feel due to the impressive amount of dry extract present, all wrapped in a long, sappy and utterly classy finish. This is really lovely and while there is a bit more of the exotic character than I really prefer there can be no question that the overall quality is excellent. Note that for my taste and in the larger format that I would advise continuing to hold this for a few more years first though in 750 ml format it is largely ready to go.
