神之雫 第二使徒
Château Palmer是法國波爾多Margaux產區著名的頂級酒莊，自18世紀初開始就以其高品質葡萄酒著稱，當時的酒莊名字是Chateau de Gascq。1814年一位英國人Charles Palmer中校因緣際會認識了一位年輕的寡婦Marie Brunet de Ferrière女士，而她正是Chateau de Gascq的主人；在他們的初次會面後不久，他就購買了這家著名的酒莊，與當時的波爾多酒莊大多數莊主一樣，他以自己的名字重命名酒莊為Château Palmer。他花了30年的擴充葡萄園和更新酒窖設備，將本酒莊經營得相當有聲有色，得以在1855年的頂級酒莊分級被列為第三級。
1938年起幾家波爾多酒商如Ginestet、Mahler-Besse、Sichel公司等共同買下本酒莊；正因為大股東們都是大酒商公司，他們深知維持高品質才能賣出好價格，所以他們很捨得投資在酒莊，讓Château Palmer一直被維持和經營得非常好。事實上Château Palmer從十九世紀以來其品質和價格常常是全Margaux產區最高的，有些時期甚至凌駕Château Margaux之上！
本莊園位於Margaux村的中心地帶，距離Chateau Margaux只有幾百公尺，擁有釀製典型Margaux美酒的極佳潛力。面積66公頃的葡萄園，現在種植了47 % Cabernet-Sauvignon、47% Merlot和6 % Petit Verdot，平均樹齡40歲左右。2014年起旗下葡萄園全部採行生物動力法耕作，並且在2017年取得認證。

The 2012 Palmer is already offering demonstrative drinking at age 10, bursting with aromas of cherries, blackberries, violets and spices, framed by a lavish application of creamy new oak. Full-bodied, ample and enveloping, it's fleshy and sensual, with a deep and layered core of fruit that's discreetly underpinned by succulent acids and sweet, powdery tannins. Concentrated, broad and persistent, this is one of the most successful wines of the vintage, as well as one of the most dramatic. Thomas Duroux is crafting more integrated, less overtly oaky wines at Palmer today, but this 2012 is nonetheless a terrific effort.
