Tasting note: Moderate wood surrounds the liqueur-like nose that combines notes of various red berries, pungent earth and sauvage nuances. There is outstanding power, concentration and punch to the big-bodied and impressively constituted flavors that brim with both dry extract and minerality on the driving finish. This is one of those wines that is clearly built-to-age yet there is so much sap that it could be approached young.
