此酒堡（簡稱﹕Pichon Lalande伯爵夫人堡）與另一座知名的二級堡Chateau Pichon-Longueville Baron（簡稱﹕Pichon Baron男伯爵堡）原為一家，1850年分家產時，Edouard Miailhe的長子Raoul男伯爵繼承了五分之二的園區也就是現在的Pichon Baron，其餘的五分之三由三個女兒繼承，後來由其中一女Comtesse de Lalande拉隆伯爵夫人取得全部的股份。
Pichon Lalande成奶妊B在於用人唯才，聘請波爾多釀酒大師Pascal Ribereau-Gayon負責園內釀酒的大任，Pascal是Leoville Lascases與Petrus釀酒師Emile Paynaud裴諾大師的徒弟。除此本莊園採用高比率的美露品種，所釀之酒「新舊皆宜」，年輕即可飲用，有豐郁的果香與適中的單寧，她也可陳年10-20年以上，成熟時有拉圖堡的氣息，酒質肥厚且柔順，單寧高雅不澀口，也是款“super second”超級二級酒堡，與St-Julien區的二級酒Chateau Leoville Lascase常互別苗頭。
在以強勁紮實著稱的Pauillac產區中，Château Pichon Lalande擁有獨樹一格的高貴優雅酒質，與其伯爵夫人的稱號巧妙地相應：它的酒質可以在年輕時就非常美味，充滿豐富甜美的果味，然而適當陳年之後，又會展現Pauillac一流美酒的優雅與紮實。無怪乎它們的酒在全世界都一直是深受鑑賞家們的喜愛。

A blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot aged for 18 months in barrels, 60% new, the 2015 Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande displays a medium to deep garnet-purple color and is elegantly fruited with crushed red currants, black raspberries and cassis with touches of lavender, rose hips, tilled soil, fungi and charcuterie. Medium-bodied, finely crafted, remarkably pure and beautifully poised, it has a firm frame of very fine-grained tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing on a lingering mineral note.
